This typeface is inspired by patterns inside Wayang and Patran patterns.

Wayang adalah seni pertunjukkan asli Indonesia yang berkembang pesat di Pulau Jawa dan Bali.

Wayang Wayang is an original particular kinds of theatre from Java. When the term is used to refer to kinds of puppet theatre, sometimes the puppet itself is referred to as wayang. Performances of shadow puppet theatre are accompanied by a gamelan orchestra in Java, and by gender wayang in Bali.

Patran Patran berbentuk seperti daun yang disusun berderet-deret. Biasanya patran ditempatkan di bagian bangunan yang sempit dan panjang.

Patran Patran is a Javanese ethnic pattern which looks like stacked leaves in rows. Usually it is crafted on narrow and long part of a building.

I created this font for it's my university's assignment. But I found a great joy in the making. :)
