Description

This is another Mega Man font I've created, an homage to Megamax Jones. It features a purely bitmapped design inspired by the 16-bit, 8x8 lettering style found in the early Mega Man X games for the SNES. Please note that later games released for the Sony PlayStation feature significantly different lettering. This font predominantly draws from the 8-bit bitmapped lettering seen in the NES game Mega Man 2 from 1988. Some characters come from Mega Man and Mega Man 3 for the NES, while others are alternative characters sourced from fan translations of Mega Man 2. Additionally, I designed custom characters that do not appear in the NES hexalogy of Mega Man games. This font is best used at 11 points or its multiples.
