Translation of the original German description (http://www.peter-wiegel.de/EhmckeFeder.html): Lettering from the third edition "German Writing Booklet" by FH Ehmcke, published in 1941. As the ninth lettering in the book blackletter is being discussed. This font is written using a broad fountain-pen and clearly shows the origin of metal type blackletter.Ehmcke writes: This beautiful German lettering sets the highest standards for the author's abilities, because the rotation of the fountain-pen requires skill, adopting to the strong vertical stems and the reciprocating curved strokes.
