Um 1970 verschwanden die rein manuell bedienten Spielstand-Anzeigen nach und nach aus den Stadien der oberen Spielklassen. Ersetzt wurden sie durch die ersten elektronischen Anzeigetafeln, die dann auch mehr informationen dem Zuschauer geben konnten. Noch waren es Glühlampen, welche die Buchstaben formten. Dies hier ist die kleine Schriftgröße, bei der jeweis eine Glühlampenreihen die Linien der Schrift formten, also mit 5 mal 6 Glühlampen auf der Fläche eines Buchstaben
