Ecologists without borders, Futura DDB and numerous volunteers wanted to leave something memorable after World cleanup day on 15th of September. We created an original typeface made from garbage. It includes all letters of the Slovenian alphabet and was made with the help of numerous volunteers from around the country after they finished with the clean-up. The font was made out of different sort of waste found in nature – from old cans, batteries, bottles, tires, helmets, jackets, furniture, etc. It can be used as a reminder that every piece of trash can be RECYCLED AND REUSED – even as art - as garbage doesn’t belong in the greens of a nature but we can reuse it for a greater good.
