MAJOR UPDATE
This
is a big update of XXII CoolScript. First of all, from now it’s a whole
family with 7 new weights from ExtraThin to Black. It comes with more
than hundred additional glyphs, some more alternates, ligatures,
numerals and fitting opentype features for fractions and two extra
ampersands.
This
lovely script font family by Lecter Johnson is another, more soft and
round one in the series of Doubletwo Studios’ script fonts (XXII YeahScript, XXII AwesomeScript).
Its wonderfully designed letters, ligatures and alternates may bring a
charming and individual handwritten look to your creation.
This fonts are designed to easily create logos, headlines and text phrases within a blink of an eye. Just open your glyphs-palette* and simply chose, from up to 27 (!) different alternates and variations per glyph, the one that fits best for your needs.

Beside the relaxing side of crafting typefaces i really love doing real stuff with making hands dirty and feeling materials. Now it was time to meet real bladesmith masters to get a dream come true – crafting my own knife. A so called damascus knife which gets this characteristic look and it’s specific hardness from the different layered steels. Right in the middle of german nowhere, at the wonderful mansion of a family driven bladesmith business, i should meet Reinhard who guided through an very instructive and adventurous forging workshop – with an result that speaks for itself.

As you may know that i am a big lover of ugly music and
all aesthetics coming along with it, it was my main concern to create a
font that fits visualy perfect and fulfils the basic requirements of a
font most freefonts don’t.
In this case it means this font comes along with little
extras like the ‚long ſ‘ (generally used with blackletterfonts) and
ligatures with it (like ‚sch‘ ‚ss‘ ‚st‘). A proportional and tabular
numarals set, and a european latin language support.
This Font is a lowdetail-grunge blackletter font. It was made for usage in small sizes, but if you’re a fan of vector-grunge feel free to blow it up as big as you like.
